On Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, Sheibani the CEO of Iran Water and Power Resources Development Company, and his colleagues visited the ongoing projects of Rayab Consulting Engineers in Kerman province, including:
– Pumping station
– Water transmission pipeline
– Water transmission tunnel
This project starts from Safaroud Dam and ends to Keraman city in south east of Iran in which the longest tunnel has designed to transmit water from south to north of Keraman province.
They as new owner of this project visited the different parts of project and were informed about its progress.
In this water transmission project, length of the main tunnel is 38 km and length of the access tunnel is 2 km, means the total length of tunnels are 40 km, of which about 20 km have been excavated by two TBM machines in two different directions.
In this site visit, Jari and Ahmadi, as representatives of Rayab Consulting Engineers were also present and explained the project’s conditions, obstacles and problems and its progress in recent months.
