Rayab’s new cooperation with the company of Tehran wastewater in Ekbatan town wastewater treatment plant.

This plant was designed and constructed in 1977 and its installation and equipment was carried out at the same time. In 1984 was put into operation and was handed over to the wastewater company in 1985.
The capcity of treatment plant is for a population equal to 100,000 people and an average flow rate of 15,000 cubic meters per day with a covered network area of ​​242 hectares.
In addition the treatment process of this treatment plant was upgraded in 2008 (from conventional activated sludge to A2O or Anaerobic-anoxic-aerobic) which was designed to simultaneously remove nitrogen and phosphorus.
The contract of operation, maintenance and repair of the Ekbatan wastewater treatment plant was signed for three years between two sides.
